This Privacy Policy describes how Wisteria handles your information. Wisteria is built around a single principle: your plans stay on your phone. We've designed the app so we cannot see, collect, or transmit your tasks, notes, or schedule.
1. The short version
- We collect nothing. Doses AI never receives your tasks, notes, plans or anything about you.
- No accounts. You don't create a profile, log in, or hand over an email.
- No servers of ours. Your tasks stay on your iPhone, and in your own iCloud if you sync your devices.
- On-device AI. The AI that turns your words into tasks and a plan runs on your iPhone. What you write is never sent to us or to an AI service.
- No analytics or tracking. Wisteria has no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting service. If you share iPhone Analytics with Apple, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports; that's an Apple setting you control.
2. What stays on your device
Everything you enter into Wisteria (tasks, notes, dates, plans and settings) is stored on your iPhone. We don't run any server that receives it.
iCloud sync. If iCloud is on for Wisteria, your tasks sync between your Apple devices through your own iCloud account, in Apple's private storage for you. Apple stores that data under Apple's Privacy Policy; we can't see it. You can turn this off in Settings > [your name] > iCloud.
3. What Wisteria asks to use, and why
- Calendar (if you allow it): to show your events next to your tasks and plan around them. Your events are read on your iPhone and never copied off it.
- Microphone and speech recognition (if you allow them): to turn what you say into text. Wisteria uses Apple's speech recognition on your iPhone where your device supports it; otherwise Apple processes the audio under Apple's Privacy Policy. We never receive it.
- Location (if you allow it, while you use the app): to work out local sunrise, sunset and twilight times, on your iPhone only.
- Photos (only the ones you pick): looked at by the on-device AI, on your iPhone only.
- Notifications (if you allow them): reminders scheduled on your iPhone.
4. Network requests
The first time you use the AI, Wisteria downloads its model (2.5 to 3.7 GB, depending on your iPhone) from Hugging Face, the public library where Google publishes it. That download sends nothing about you or your tasks, only the request for the file, as any download does. After that, planning works without the internet.
5. The AI model
Wisteria plans with Gemma 4, an open model made by Google, running entirely on your iPhone. Your words are never uploaded for analysis, and we never use your content to train AI.
6. Children
Wisteria is not intended for children under 13. Because Wisteria has no accounts and collects no personal data, we have no way to identify any user, including children.
7. Your control
To delete everything, delete the Wisteria app from your iPhone. If you used iCloud sync, you can also remove Wisteria's data in Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage. There is nothing on a server of ours to delete.
8. Changes to this policy
If we ever change how Wisteria handles data, we'll update this policy and tell you in the app before the change takes effect. We will never quietly start collecting data.
